AmbITion Scotland


AmbITion Scotland is a digital development programme specifically designed to support individuals and organisations working in the arts, culture and heritage sectors in Scotland. We help them grow in their capability, capacity, creativity and confidence to make the most of the opportunities of digital technologies.

AmbITion Scotland build capacity and capability by helping to demystify the digital world and strengthens the arts, cultural and heritage sectors skills and confidence in using digital technologies across all business functions.  We help showcase the potential of digital development for arts organisations; sharing stories and lessons learned in order to build confidence and encourage collaboration and innovation.

To do this, AmbITion Scotland provides a range of pragmatic tools: a library of online information how to guides, case studies, learning journeys and video on demand of learning events. We offer signposting to the most up to date information and innovative practice in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors. AmbITion Scotland has an online forum for individuals and businesses to connect.  The programme helps people build their skills and knowledge as well as connect in person through our event series.  AmbITion Scotland also gives direct support to cultural businesses through its Make:IT:Happen fund.

Scottish Games is proudly independent and strives to be the authoritative source for all news and information related to the games sector as well as giving every participant a platform to ask questions, network and find out more about video games and interactive entertainment in Scotland.

Student Designers designed and developed the website for Digital2013. Student Designers is made up of a group of people passionate about design education. They are dedicated to narrowing the gap between education & industry, collaborative working and creative entrepreneurship.
